Akshara's Diaries

T HE COV-HEROS……. We get so much of time during this lock down , But we only moan and frown, That economy will fall in a blink. But   do we ever pause to think? There are people who don’t have a grain of rice to lick, That people who are affected by   the pandemic. They constantly have their tummy grumbling, But the sight of their will power is truly humbling. They are the people who will save us from this calamity, They will fight the virus with humanity. They are the daily wagers and the farmers, They will fight with will-power filled swords and armours. They will lift the economy when it will be in zeros, ALL HAIL FOR THE COV-HEROS !

There are two characters, grandpa and his granddaughter Shashi. 1. WHY CAN’T TREES MOVE ?  It was the first question Shashi asked. “It was a long time back when trees could move. But they were mischief-makers. They used to poke animals with their thorns or whack animals with their branches.So all animals went to the good witch 🧙‍♀️ of the forest   and told their troubles. The good witch enchanted the roots of the trees and they couldn’t move. She cursed them that they will be troubled until they do something good to compensate with the trouble they stirred.”said grandpa. “ But what good did the trees do?” asked Shashi , puzzled. “They give us oxygen and take in carbon dioxide. So it won’t be long before they start walking again.” explained grandpa. “I can’t wait for it !” exclaimed Shashi.  2. WHY IS THE MOON IN THE SKY?  Asked Shashi . “Long back there was no moon. People were afraid of the dark nights for witches , evil   spirits...

Chapter 1            The doctor family         Alisha’s great great great grandfather was a doctor.And so , now it was their family tradition to be a doctor. They were called doctor family. They owned 7 islands . They were very rich.                      But , Alisha was different. She wanted  to become a detective. Her parent didn’t like this. Alisha was stubborn and refused to become a doctor.              The family thought that the ones who were not doctor were very poor. So , her parent made her wear baggy shorts and a few torn shirts which once belonged to her brother. They treated Alisha poorly. She was not given good food.
