THE COV-HEROS…….

We get so much of time during this lock down,

But we only moan and frown,

That economy will fall in a blink.

But  do we ever pause to think?

There are people who don’t have a grain of rice to lick,

That people who are affected by  the pandemic.

They constantly have their tummy grumbling,

But the sight of their will power is truly humbling.

They are the people who will save us from this calamity,

They will fight the virus with humanity.

They are the daily wagers and the farmers,

They will fight with will-power filled swords and armours.

They will lift the economy when it will be in zeros,

ALL HAIL FOR THE COV-HEROS!

WHEN YOU THREW ACID ON MY FACE…….

Yes,I agree, you threw acid on my face,

But I don’t need beauty in life to ace.

Yes,I endured terrible pain,

But got something more precious in gain.

The acid you threw, did’nt cause me a scratch,

For wherever I go,my dreams hatch.

Your acid did give me quite a scar,

But sadness is now very far.

I don’t care if I am not beautiful as a doll,

Still I am the same person when I enter the hall.

People cheer for me when I shop in the mall.

I do not care for beauty and grace,

This is the story that started ,

When you threw acid on my face.

MY MOTHER………

As I wake up,a strand of hair brushes my eyes,

I open my eyes to see my mother ,

Who is the voice of truth in this world of lies.

She is the one who beside me

Stands strong.

And she will always be with me,

When dark nights are long.

The place around my mother,

Is positive and cheerful.

Every sad moment,

She makes it joyful.

I love her warmth,

And her cozy hugs.

She is just like the lioness,

Protecting her cubs.
