Alisha Dixon and the lost gem

Chapter 1

           The doctor family 

       Alisha’s great great great grandfather was a doctor.And so , now it was their family tradition to be a doctor. They were called doctor family. They owned 7 islands . They were very rich.

                     But , Alisha was different. She wanted  to become a detective. Her parent didn’t like this. Alisha was stubborn and refused to become a doctor. 

            The family thought that the ones who were not doctor were very poor. So , her parent made her wear baggy shorts and a few torn shirts which once belonged to her brother. They treated Alisha poorly. She was not given good food. But still,these all things didn’t prevent her to become a detective.

Chapter:2

         A mystery to solve 

      

Alisha ‘s family only bought medical books home . Alisha used to read those books. By reading the medical books, she used to find information about the discovers and the historical events in their lives. While doing so, Alisha found about a mysterious gem. The gem’s juice can heal any disease in the whole world. It has maps and routes inside it . It also gives you immense wealth. But , the gem was lost centuries ago. And with it, the story behind it was lost too . Only a few people knew the story but they claimed that it is just a fairy tale.

                     Alisha was now determined to solve this case. She went to every house asking about the lost gem . Hardly 10 people knew the story. She listened to all stories. Of course, there were a few changes in all their stories. But the common person in all the stories was a lady named Hellen. 

Chapter:3 

         Hellen’s discovery 

 They told that Hellen was the first and the only one to describe or find the gem . Though Hellen never disclosed the secret that if she has seen it or touched it but  she had drawn a picture of the gem . The gem was emerald green with rose pink borders. She had even written some books. But people say that the books were never published for she was killed and her house was burnt. Alisha  came to know that she was a mathematician, a doctor and an inventor. Alisha quickly rushed to her medical library. She found a dusty book . But it was not an old one . It was new. 

                      While reading, she came across a page that was blacked out. The page was torn a bit . The page colour was white but there was a spot on it . The cover was made new too. Alisha found that this was an old book but someone had made it look new. 

Chapter:4

Alisha finds out the truth 

            Alisha quickly took her paint polish ( which could remove paint ). But her father came in and said, “You are not studying!you know tomorrow is your last day of school and they take exams. I will take your studies” . Alisha went to a medical school where there were only 4 subjects_The history of medicine, How and what medicine to make during serious injuries, Ayurvedic medicine making, Ayurvedic philosophy. They have school just for one year and the next year they tell that the year is for practice. Now Alisha ‘s father was taking her lessons “Hmmmm....The history of medicine and discovers .’Who had invented the laughing gas?” Alisha answered ‘Humphrey Davy ‘ . ‘What was used nowadays in place of laughing gas?’ “Ether “ Alisha answered. This went on for half an hour. And then the next day , at the same time, Alisha was testing. She rubbed the paint polish on the page . She found out something important. The paint that was put on the page was “convert53 paint “. The paint had just come out or launched a month ago! She conducted more tests and out of 8 tests, she found out that the paint was put again and again. It was “convert48,49,50,51,52,53”. Alisha found the fact that the killer team which had formed years ago, was still there. Every year or month , they put a fresh coat of paint. Alisha was a bit relaxed when she got to know that the “convert54 paint “ was  coming out next year. 

                          Alisha put the paint polish for 53 times and at last she got the original script.It read that Hellen lived in a bungalow ( no .11) in Canbuston palace mountain. Now, this was the meaning that Hellen existed and so did the lost gem. Alisha knew that finding more evidence was risky. 

Chapter:5 

    The fingerprints

Alisha found some fingerprints on the painted page. Alisha‘s best friend’s father was a police officer. Alisha decided to go to him the next day.

                She went to him the next day . “Hello Alisha.Did my daughter hit you?”. he asked. Alisha said,’I want your help ‘ .’Oh!’ he said, ‘Please tell me ‘.”People say that you have solved all the 155 mysteries.Is it true?”Alisha asked with a forced smile. He said that he had. ‘Then uncle, if you have solved, who killed Hellen and where is the lost stone ?’ The inspector’s smiled face turned into a shocked one. “H-How do you know H-Hellen’s c..case !?”he asked. ‘I know it. See , I have got fingerprints too.”Alisha said. She asked for the criminal book record. But none fingerprints matched that of the book.

                     

Chapter:6 

Mr.Stanford’s  tale

        

        ‘Uncle! I want you to come with me to the Hellen-ous-library ‘Alisha said. It was an old library. No one ever visits the library . They went there. The librarian was an old man . His name was Stanford.

                        Stanford was a bit creepy. Alisha asked him ,”Sir, do you have any books on Hellen?” ‘ Hmmm..said Stanford and he did nothing.Alisha repeated the same question again.’Hmmm...’he said. Now ,the inspector was getting annoyed.’If you don’t have any information,we will leave!come Alisha ‘he thundered.He turned his back on Stanford and walked out of the library. ‘Aahh! I was waiting for this moment. Miss , I was thinking which book to give you but ...I see..... you will be a great detective. I have none books to give you but I know a book which will give you enough information dear.The books name is ‘History of his-story ‘.You will have to find it .’Stanford said.’Alliisshaa! come! Don’t trust him!’the inspector shouted. ‘Yes! I am coming!. Just a second ‘Alisha answered. ‘Uncle..you have so many books!.A “History of his-story “might be hidden in one of the shelves!, Alisha said. There were three floors full of old, dusty books.”Hmmm....My dear child, it’s not that case. Hellen was in many books. The books were published and every library had a copy of Hellen’s books. But “The History of his-story “ was never published! It was written by Howshawartzs Gawk, a close friend of Hellen. I found it somewhere in Kank’s island near Canbuston palace mountain. It was buried under the rocks. First , he gave descriptions over many great people. And after the thick page no.180, he wrote Hellen ‘s secrets, her personal affairs and all that ‘. Stanford said all this quickly. The inspector again yelled Alisha to come out. This time,Alisha got irritated with his interruptions that she told him to go and have some tea and snacks . Then Alisha asked,’Then why didn’t he publish the book and how did he come to know about Hellen ‘s life? ‘Ahh....a beautiful story behind this’Stanford said smiling. ‘Wait a minute! How do you know all this and why are you telling this to me?Alisha asked suspiciously. Stanford smiled and said,’You See, I am an astrologer.I can predict one’s life by seeing their eyes. How else did I figure out that the inspector was nosy and rude,proud of his achievements and overconfident of his strength. He was not worthy to get this piece of information. You are worthy ‘. ‘No he is not!’ Interrupted Alisha. ‘He is kind and helpful. He is not rude!Alisha said angrily. Mr. Stanford was hurt. He turned his back on Alisha’s face and said , ‘Good luck obu then’.and he disappeared into darkness.’No!Mr Stanford! Don’t go please! Uncle !’ Alisha shouted. She ran after him but there were so many directions.’What have I done!’ Alisha thought sadly. But what had Stanford muttered before going.”Good luck obu then”. What was obu? Alisha saw a signboard. The right passage ‘s name was obu. But Alisha was confused to trust him. ‘What if it was a trap? He was a bit creepy!’ Alisha’s mind told her. Alisha now made her mind to go there. She had to know who ,how, whatever was. Still she took a knife for safety for she didn’t trust Stanford fully. She took out her pocket torch and a chalk. She set out. The passage was very complicated. She was marking the walls with her chalk. There was a signboard again. The left one’s name was “blubber” and the right one’s name was “ then”. 

                          Alisha went right. An hour was passed. She at least found Mr Stanford in a dirty room. Stanford seemed to be sad and was muttering something to himself. ‘U- Uncle.’ Alisha stammered. Stanford nearly jumped from his armchair. ‘Oh!, the suspicious girl,the daring girl,the caring girl, the beautiful girl’ , he was muttering something to himself. ‘Come my dear child , let’s go out and talk’. Stanford said softly. But suddenly he fainted. Alisha screamed in shock. She sprinkled some water on his face. Stanford woke up after a few seconds. Alisha ran to bring some water for him but when she rolled the tap, dirty water came out from it. Alisha took some dirty water. She also found a plastic bottle. She cut the bottle into half with her knife . She put some powdered coal ( which Stanford kept for burning a fire) into the half of the bottle ( the lid was covered by Alisha ‘s handkerchief) and then put some fine sand ( which was found in an old hourglass) and then , she put coarse sand ( she picked from the ground) and put the dirty water through it. This filtered the water . Stanford drank this clean water with pleasure. 

                       ‘Nowadays, I drink dirty water. I am I’ll. ‘ he said. ‘So the caring girl you said was true, do you mean that ?’ Alisha asked.’Hmm...Yes, I knew that I would faint.’ Stanford said. ‘So the sis...?’ ..’Yes my dear, it describes you. You were suspicious down there, you were daring to come here, you nursed me here which means that you are caring ‘ Stanford said. And beautiful you are from your heart ‘ he said. 

                        They went up and Stanford said,” Howshawartzs Gawk was Hellen’s best friend. They were so close that they fixed their marriage too. But Hellen had a wish . She told Howshawartzs to write a book that had her life story written. He wrote.....but I don’t know anymore.Yesterday , someone glued all my books with a strong glue and someone had stolen “History of his - story “ years ago from my library. Good bye and good luck ‘.

                       Now Alisha had to find , ‘The History of his- story ‘ book . 

    

Chapter:7 

  The black chip

        ‘Alisha!Atlast’ , the inspector said. “I want to stay here for a day .And I will pay for the room and food with my pocket money.” Alisha said. ‘Oh!’ said the inspector happily,I will have a free stay!. “Of course not! I don’t have much money. My parents won’t give me enough ‘said Alisha bitterly. They went to a cheap hotel. A man in a dirty clothes told them to come in. First, Alisha booked her room and they bought some breakfast. They ate stale cucumber and cold beans. The inspector didn’t like the hotel. He went to a newly built posh hotel and he booked a room for himself. After a few minutes, the inspector came in and said,’Alisha,I have booked my room for a week. I like that hotel.’

          She now, Alisha had a week with her to find the book. She was sure that the book she was finding was in that town. She set out to look for that book. The town was really ancient. The walls of that town seemed to hold the secret of the past .Inscriptions were carved on it (walls). .But the inscriptions were a bit odd( like $><>?~>) . Alisha went away and while she was working she found out that there was  a line written in English. She went towards it. It was written : Hellen: Vielas Poporiti. What did it mean? Just then there was a sound. Alisha turned and saw a man wearing black robes running through the bushes. There was a sign on his robes: K team. He was a member of the killer team that had once killed Hellen! Alisha ran behind him but he disappeared!

                  So they knew that Alisha was behind them. They knew that she had removed the paint from the page. But how did they follow her?

            She went to the hotel. While reading her old- made new book, she found a black circle. It was a tracker! She immediately ran to the inspector . 

                 ‘There is a tracker here! ‘ Alisha told him. The inspector checked all the sides of the tracker and saw the company’s name written ‘The cosmos batch no 42’.   He checked for the fingerprints but there were none. ‘That’s it’,he said. Alisha understood.

          

Chapter:8

The plan of the killers 

The inspector and Alisha were a bit puzzled ‘ why would the killer team ever put such a costly tracker?’the inspector asked. Suddenly, Alisha jumped and snatched the track. She examined it carefully and said,’This is not an ordinary tracker. It has small space here .They have put some colour in it and some settings too. It means that they were following us. We went to Spain before coming here. They removed the documents here . Wherever we went, they came with us. They use this colour when they are late. They release this colour. And when we think that it has gone bad and sell it , they buy it. They do this when the new Conver paint rolls out and when they get it , they whitewash it and refill the colour in this little chip 

Chapter :9

  No documents

 

They decided to visit the Cosmos company. They asked for the documents of 42 batch but they said that it was stolen!

              Next, they went to Convert company. Same story. Their documents were stolen too.

                ‘Oh no! This case is trickier, I told you! Did you listen to me? No! Now what do we do ?! he shouted.’There is one way ‘ Alisha said calmly. ‘You have to come with me to Canbuston palace mountain ‘ . ‘What! It is Hellen’s palace and it is burnt out! We want to find the killers!’he said. ‘Uncle, understand. If we find Hellen’s palace then we will find her books. If we find her book , we will find the gem and if we get the gem , we will get —-‘she said... but was interrupted. ‘What! Gem! You want a gem!? he asked angrily. ‘Uncle, do you know why they killed Hellen? For she had information about the gem and had written books about it. They ( the killer team) wanted the gem. So they killed Hellen and wiped out all her signs, documents and everything. They stole her books and burnt their house to give an impression that her books are burnt. And they found the gem. But they were worried that the books might get stolen, so they might have put the books back in the burnt down castle and the mountain, out- of - bounds. That’s the only reason because if they had the books with them, they would let the public see the castle. So , if we find the books, then we will find the gem and then we will find the killers ‘Alisha said .’Whoa!’said the inspector amazed ‘ A good plan but how will we go to the palace?  he asked. ‘I found a map in Spain. It was dropped by a killer team members. It was of the palace. Where the guards are, where books are and where the guards are not there .’ Alisha said 

Chapter:10

     

     Canbuston palace run 

‘Uncle! I have made a plan.’ Alisha said ,’there is a sewer pipe. We will go up from there. But take the tracker out and....’ 

           ‘ Throw it in Tibet’.the inspector said. ‘One of my constable is going to Tibet . I will give him the tracker.’the inspector explained.

                   The plan went as planned. Alisha sat on the rocks and watched the guards with her binoculars. But they were not the killer team but the 24✖️7 Amogos security. And when the guard were looking the other way, Alisha and the inspector dived inside the sewer pipe and pushed themselves up. There they saw 3 books lying in the corner. They were written by Hellen. The first one was how powerful the gem is . The second one was where it is . Just when Alisha picked the third book, they saw the guards running towards them. Alisha and the  inspector quickly covered their faces and ran towards the sewer pipe. They jumped inside. But they saw that half of the guards were standing on the exit and a guard was coming down the sewer pipe. Alisha panicked but the inspector led her to an adjoining pipe. But they could not exit for if they would, they would land on the marshy land and would sink. The inspector quickly removed a rope from his backpack and took Alisha ‘s pocket knife. He tied the knife on the rope and told Alisha to hold one end . The inspector threw the other end ( which had knife) towards a big tree standing after the marshy land. It luckily stuck on a high and a thick branch . Now, the guard had reached to the  second pipe and was on their back. He glided down with speed . The inspector quickly grabbed the rope, tied himself and Alisha and swung up. But the guard fell right into the marsh. Alisha and the inspector climbed the rope. But there was a ring stuck in the tree. With great difficulty, Alisha pulled it out. And then, she pulled out the knife too. They climbed down and ran. 

Chapter:11

 Hunderson’s island 

The second book said that the gem is in Hunderson’s island. They went there. The gem was not there of course. But there,Alisha found fingerprints and....Hellen ‘s skeleton!. Alisha saw a ring in the skeleton ‘s hand. The whole body had decayed but not her face. Alisha pulled the ring. Alisha looked around. There was a bullet and a knife lying on the red sand . The cave was all red. Suddenly, the ring beeped. The ring was a fingerprint machine. She put it on the fingerprints. The ring which Alisha had worn ( the one stuck on the tree) started to show the location of the fingerprints: The Killer Team.

They were in Kank’s island. The inspector quickly called his team of police and a boat equipped with weapons. The whole police team fitted in the boat but there was no space for Alisha. So Alisha and the inspector took another boat. The boatman was a very old man . He said that his name was very difficult. Once they reached, they hid behind a mountain. When they saw the group, the police officers and some of the army officials fought the killer team. There was a cave. Alisha quickly entered the cave and saw a light. It was a gem! But then, she heard some grunts. She went there. There she saw a woman sitting on a rock. 

Chapter:12

The big shock 

Alisha asked,’who are you?!!’. The woman said that she was the adopted daughter of Hellen. Her name was Annesa. She said that the gem was from the ancestors of Hellen. Hellen had cooked a false story to tell everyone. The killer team had captured Annesa centuries ago. Annesa explained that the only way of destroying the gem is to remove the life core juice out of it. But the one who is worth of destroying it can only do it by saying DISAPPEAR. Hellen had tried to do it but the ‘vielas poporiti’ came instead. The ‘vielas poporiti’ has powers to make one immortal ,2nd immortal but will die if killed and the 3rd ‘s body preservable . Annesa drank the 1st one, Howshawartzs drank the 2nd one and Hellen drank the 3rd one.

               Alisha took the gem in her hand and said,”DISAPPEAR”!. And the gem disappeared!. But a brownish green liquid flowed from Alisha ‘s hand and fell on the ground. A tree sprouted instantly.’Now , after 6 centuries, the gem will regain power ‘ Annesa said. 

                   Just then, the inspector and his team came in . He had caught the leader of the team. He opened the mask . Alisha fainted when she saw the leader. It was her aunt.

                 When Alisha woke up, she saw her aunt who was looking bloody.’A-Aunty,y-you?How?’ Alisha asked. ‘Silly girl!’said her aunt loudly. ‘You followed me!And if you want to know that how I came here than give thanks to Lord Mareatta!she thundered.’Mareatta!’ The inspector gasped.’The greatest villain!Tell me more!?? the inspector sat. ‘No!’ Alisha said,’I don’t want to hear anymore. Arrest her!’

   

Chapter :13

World Record 

The old boatman was looking very happy and was doing some kind of folk dance. The inspector and Alisha decided to meet him. They asked, ‘What is your name??’Oh! Mine is a difficult one but I will tell you, I am Howshawartzs Gawk ‘ the boatman said.’You had written “A history of his- story “ Alisha exclaimed. He told to follow them and he opened a box full of instruments. ‘Now , I want to give all these instruments to you, girl, it was designed by Hellen herself. The most precious object in the whole world.See! Palamonia, reminder, Masson, fera.Hmmm.’. the boatman said. He was crying. ‘Palamonia can detect fingerprints, who are they and can see clips from their lives. Useful,’the boatman said. He was describing all the objects. He gave it to Alisha. But while putting all the objects in her bag, the old- made- new book fell down. The boatman suddenly jumped and tore its cover. In small golden letters, it was written, “History of his- story .” Alisha was shocked and the boatman was astonished.’Can I keep it with me?’ The boatman asked eagerly.’Ofcourse ! It is your’s only ‘ Alisha exclaimed.

            Alisha came in the record books for youngest detective to solve a difficult case. Her parents thought that Alisha had won a record for the youngest doctor to  operate a critical heart patient. They gifted Alisha an island. Alisha had lost the track of days and she came to know that her school was starting from tomorrow. A new adventure was to start for her.
